These are the exact round carbide cutters (also known as burs or bits) used by Ken Brown and other Professional Engravers and Carvers.
They can be used on metal, glass, eggs, wood, tile and even stone.
They are to be used in most high speed tools such as the NSK Presto, Ney Hurricane, Shofu Lab Z Air and any other that uses 1/16 shank friction grip burs.
How long will they last? This depends on the pressure applied and how “heavy” your hand is. These are the highest quality burs available but if you have a “heavy” hand and apply too much pressure, they will not last as long as someone that used light pressure and allows the speed of the tool to do the work.
